The 37th Annual San Francisco Fleet Week - San Francisco's largest annual civic sponsored event.
Event Details
San Francisco Fleet Week is a series of FREE, family friendly events that honor the contributions of the men and women of the United States Armed Forces while advancing cooperation and knowledge among civilian- and military-based Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response personnel.
Air Show:
Taking place over three consecutive days, this event attracts over a million people every year. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels put on a breathtaking display, while on the ground visitors enjoy a family friendly festival featuring the Fleet Week Humanitarian Village.
Parade of Ships:
Throughout Fleet Week, thousands of visitors climb aboard amphibious carriers, destroyers and cruisers docked along the Embarcadero to get a glimpse into the day-to-day lives of the sailors serving in the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy. Check back for ship names, as well as tour procedures and times.
Humanitarian Assistance Village:
The Humanitarian Assistance Village is an interactive demonstration of US Military and Civil capabilities in responding to a disaster. The 2017 Village will include an educational program for participants to learn about these capabilities. Guided by a “Passport”, participants will be encouraged to explore four different theme camps and receive a stamp from each: Mass Care and Shelter, Power and Utilities, Community Response & Rescue, and Environmental Management & Decontamination.
K-9 Heroes - Bark at the Park:
Join us for a FREE event which honors our K-9 Heroes and their human friends during San Francisco Fleet Week 2017! Watch and learn about working K-9's from the I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF), U.S. Navy United States Third Fleet, San Francisco Police Department, San Francisco Sheriff's Department, San Francisco Fire Department, Canine Companions for Independence and many others. K-9 Heroes Bark at the Park is brought to you by the San Francisco Fleet Week Association and the San Francisco
