Maruya

Description

In 2013, Maruya opened in San Francisco's Mission District. It was one of the first restaurants in the district to offer a truly Edomae style sushi with its sleek sushi bar counter. With Chef Akifusa Tonai as the executive chef, his food presentation centers on sushi kaiseki. The menu are well-planned and it changes every few days. The fish are curated and most of the fish originate from Tsukiji Market, Tokyo, JPN.
