The corner of Shotwell and 20th streets has been a place for neighbors to meet and drink since Schlichtmann & Bredhofy Grocery Saloon opened here back in 1891. Mindful of this rich tradition, Shotwell's Bar opened in 2006 adding to the short list of bars that have occupied this space.
