The Inaugural New Year's Rivertown Ball is Coming! Sonoma County's favorite music and production companies, Second Octave and Clementine Eco-Events, are pleased to announce a fresh and fantastic Sonoma County New Year's tradition: The Rivertown Ball!

On Saturday, December 31st, at the Petaluma Veterans Memorial Bld San Francisco’s pioneering psychedelic soul band Monophonics will be joined by Point Reyes Station’s genre-defying possessed pop group El Radio Fantastique and Sonoma County’s own ragtag purveyors of old time party music, Oddjob Ensemble. In true Rivertown Revival fashion the evening will be bolstered by a wide variety of artistic creations and daring libations as your vaudevillian spectacular host, Tobias the Mystic Man, performs magic and circus acts to delight patrons at every level of sobriety!
The Rivertown Ball is a Benefit for Friends of the Petaluma River (FOPR). A local non-profit dedicated to celebrating, conserving and educating the community about the Petaluma River and its watershed. Throughout the year FOPR hosts river clean ups, free boating on sundays, a nature camp for kids, barn dances and more. In 2014 FOPR implemented a Watershed Classroom Program which enables teachers throughout Petaluma City Schools to teach common core curriculum through the lens of our river and watershed. Their mission is to celebrate the Petaluma Watershed through education and stewardship; because every great River needs a true Friend!
Monophonics
Raised amid the rich musical culture and history of the San Francisco Bay Area, the legendary Monophonics proudly carry the torch through the generations into today’s musical landscape. Holding on to tradition, but by no means purists of any kind, they play their own brand of music known as “Psychedelic Soul.”
El Radio Fantastique
The diverse orchestra that makes up El Radio Fantastique brings together a wide range of seemingly irreconcilable styles into a cohesive story and sound, from punk to art-pop, desert dance to glam-rock, New Orleans to Pepperland, creating a new style all their own. The band hails from Point Reyes Station and is led by its founder, Giovanni Di Morente. Whether channeling disparate past experiences as a grave digger, dumpster diver, or pop star, Di Morente fancies the brok
