Asian Street Market – Benefitting Jean Parker Elementary School by SoMa StrEat Food Park
Event Details
Jet-set to Asia for this year’s Asian Street Market at SoMa StrEat Food Park! Experience flavors from Japan, Korea, China, the Philippines, and beyond all at one event! Spend the day slurping noodles, sipping boba, dipping dumplings, and more!.
Chef Tu David Phu from Top Chef will guide “Venmo John” from The Bachelorette/Bachelor in Paradise through a Vietnamese beef tartare and nuoc cham cooking demo. Snag a VIP ticket to claim a reserved seat, a sample bite, and a gift bag including bottles of sauces featured in the demo: ChiliCali’s Sambal Red Hot Chili Base and Red Boat Fish Sauce (combined $16.99 retail value).
Stephanie Wong, Miss Asian North America 2018, and Raquel Basco, Miss USA Intercontinental 2017, will guide your tour of asian as event MCs. Proceeds will benefit Jean Parker Elementary School’s P.E. and dance programs, so of course we will have dance crews representing, and even a mini Korean Pop dance class! Cool off with a milk tea, and don’t forget to save room for dessert. We’ll have options like soft serve in a Japanese fish-shaped cone, fried chicken, ice cream sandwiches, and more.
