Downtown San Francisco features the Financial District, which is primarily a business district that borders between Market Street and Kearny and even towards the Embarcadero, the eastern waterfront roadway, which sits atop an engineered seawall. The SOMA (South of Market) District is a residential area formed into luxury loft work and living spaces. Transportation options are good; you can access the Muni buses and the T-train easily.
